I’m Christopher Kuchta, a freelance Certified Webflow developer and UI/UX designer based in Los Angeles, California. Through CK Design & Development, I help Los Angeles-area companies design, develop, rebuild, and optimize high-performance marketing websites in Webflow.
I work with companies throughout Los Angeles County, including teams in Downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, Santa Monica, Culver City, West Hollywood, and surrounding Southern California communities.
Being local makes it easier to collaborate with Los Angeles businesses that prefer working with a developer in the same time zone. I am available for remote collaboration as well as occasional in-person meetings when a project benefits from them.
Clients work directly with me throughout the project. I do not outsource design or development work to an external production team.
A successful website needs more than polished visuals. It should clearly communicate what the company offers, guide visitors toward meaningful actions, and adapt effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
My UI/UX design process can include:
I can create a new website design from the ground up or work within an existing brand and design system.
I develop websites specifically for Webflow rather than forcing a generic template to fit the project.
Each build can include reusable components, organized class structures, scalable CMS collections, responsive layouts, interactions, and custom functionality. The goal is to create a website that looks refined on launch while remaining practical for the company to maintain afterward.
For larger organizations, I can also collaborate directly with internal marketing, design, engineering, SEO, and growth teams.
Webflow’s CMS can support much more than a basic blog. I create structured CMS systems for content such as:
I plan CMS relationships, reusable templates, filters, conditional visibility, and editor workflows around the content a company actually needs to manage.
Every Webflow website I build includes a strong technical and structural foundation for search visibility.
Depending on the project, SEO and answer-engine optimization work may include:
SEO cannot guarantee a specific ranking, but a properly structured website gives search engines and AI systems clearer information about the company, its services, and the topics for which it should be considered relevant.
I help businesses migrate existing websites to Webflow while preserving important content, URLs, metadata, and search visibility.
Migration projects may include:
Migration planning is especially important for established websites because changing URLs or removing content without a clear strategy can negatively affect existing organic visibility.
I work with companies at different stages, from startups preparing for launch to established organizations managing large marketing websites.
I can join a project as:
Engagements can be structured as fixed-scope projects, hourly development, or ongoing support depending on the needs of the team.
